The activities that we develop in the workshops adopt principles and characteristics of Zen art combined with practices in the use of color, form and volume. We work mainly with repetitive patterns using the zentangle® method, geometric figures, suggested symbolic drawings and Zendalas (organic mandalas). We include paper folding.
Our goal is to explore ourselves through art, generating a creative attitude towards our own life, the possibility of transforming it and enriching our environment at the same time. In this way the color, shape and line act as synthesizers of internal processes. They are tools for personal development that inspire us visually and help us to know ourselves better through practice, strengthening our internal resources. The emphasis of the work is placed on the process and not on the result because its dynamic generates a spontaneous attitude of living here and now that allows us to achieve a feeling of well-being and calmness that encourages meditation.
Within the activities offered, there are specific workshops on the Zentangle® method and art .Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT ™) in USA, by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the founders of the method which is used all over the world.
